The Vicksburg battle gave the North control of the Mississippi River, which influenced exchange and the southern economy. Likely the most popular of all, the skirmish of Gettysburg vanquished General Lee's second attack of the North. There were many key pioneers in the Civil War that assumed significant jobs in the result of the war. General Ulysses S. Award was the main general of the Union who drove them to numerous incredible triumphs. He was in war once previously and surrendered because of a drinking issue and missing his better half and kids.
